Focusing on Life - Week 3 - Take Time

By now you probably know that I've joined in with Sally over at The Studio Sublime to step up to the photo challenge each week.

We were to Take Time for ourselves (something a lot of us don't do very much, if at all) and to photograph what we did to Take Time for ourselves.

Me, I took a break one afternoon and sat outside.
I read my new book, sipped some Chai Tea and enjoyed some yummy chocolate!

Taking Time for Myself - NICE!

I even had some fun playing with some editing software, too.

And YES,...I  did enjoy my favorite chocolate.

Thank you for asking!

Please hop on over and check out what the rest of the group did to Take Time for themselves this week!

And thanks to Sally for hosting such a fun photo challenge each week. It actually makes me Take Time for myself,...to think and photograph our next prompt!! :-)

Until Next Time,
Peace, Love and Taking the Time for Ourselves!
Cheers,
~Shel~

  11. Everything is better with chocolate in my opinion, including 'me time' Your photos are lovely. I'm jealous that you were outside. It's too cold here to be out more than a few minutes.

  14. Wonderful post, and that is MY FAVORITE chocolate! I have to be careful when I buy them and only allow one a day, otherwise I would eat them all in one sitting!!!! Love the book!

  18. You beautifully captured what I consider to be the perfect "me time" trifecta ... a good book, good tea, and delicious dark chocolate. Personally though, I think there should be more chocolate. =D

  20. I am always looking for the next great book for me to read. I will have to check out Coelho. I have not read one from this author. Of course, I rarely take the time to read. So shameful considering that I am a former English teacher! But chocolate is an everyday luxury just for me. My mother taught me that it was a must! Enjoy the day. Erin

So before I even scroll anywhere else I want to tell you how much I love your photos for this weeks prompt and I'm so glad that you found sometime to sit on the porch (one of my favorite things to do), read and eat that yummy chocolate!
